Background: Carla attended
Coronado HS in Scottsdale, AZ, as well as
Phoenix College and UC Berkeley, where she ran
cross country in the fall and competed in the
800/1500m races in the spring. A Pac-10 1500m
finalist and Pac-10 All-Academic award winner,
Jackson also works at Health Education for Cal Poly Pomona. She received her M.P.H from UCLA. She
is married, with two kids, daughter
Kalinda and son Caden.
