Lindbergh Sinks the Competition

Pomona College freshman Kristen Lindbergh swam to a lifetime best time in winning the 200 freestyle against defending SCIAC champions, CMS. Kristen’s time of 1:55.47 was also under the NCAA III “B” cut time of 1:55.99. In addition to the 200 free, Lindbergh won the 100 freestyle in a time of 53.68, just off the 16 year old school record of 53.17. Lindberg joined Pomona sophomore Naomi LaPorte in winning multiple events. LaPorte won the 200 Individual Medley and 200 Butterfly. The swimmer's next meet is on January 10 at home against the Tigers of Occidental College.
