Pomona-Pitzer Ranks In Top Ten In Team GPA

Claremont, Calif. - The Pomona-Pitzer Women's Swimming and Diving team ranked ninth nationally in Division III with a 3.61 team grade point average, it was announced today by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).

In fact, both Sagehen swimming teams were honored by the CSCAA, as the Men's Swimming and Diving team ranked third nationally with a 3.56. It is the second year in a row that both swimming and diving teams have placed in the top ten nationally in team grade point average.

The Sagehens also great success in the pool, finishing second in the Colonial Athletic Association with a 6-1 record in dual meets. Sophomore Alex Lincoln led the way with two conference championships in the 100-yard and 200-yard freestyle, while also being nominated for Academic All-America honors in the classroom.
