Friday, Sept. 25

The Sagehens traveled to Chapman to take on the Panthers, whom they have not beaten on their court since 2004.  The Hens came out strong, taking the first two sets 25-21 and 25-18, but the Panthers fought back to take the third 25-17.

The fourth set saw several lead changes, tie scores and long rallies however the Panthers again rallied to take the fourth, going overtime at 28-26.  After a quick re-group, Kenzie Aries started the fifth set off with a 6 point serving spree and the Hens never looked back, capturing the fifth with a decisive 15-4 score.
