Women's Track Posts Strong Marks at Lower Quad Meet

Under warm skies on Caltech's Fox Stanton Field, Pomona-Pitzer's women's track and field team set numerous personal and season's bests Saturday, March 14.

Pomona-Pitzer won the meet with 195 points, followed by Whittier (141), La Verne (92), Caltech (56) and Soka University (28).

Top marks came from event winners Lara Hughes-Stinson (pole vault of 10'0), Claire McGroder (400m in 59.00), Ellie Chestnut (hammer of 141-0 and javelin of 107-3), and Traci Lopez (high jump of 4-11 and triple jump of 33-5 1/4).

RESULTS 

The Sagehens next compete in the California/Nevada Collegiate Championships at UCLA on Saturday and Sunday, March 28-29.
