Women's Tennis Completes Successful '09 Campaign
The Pomona-Pitzer Women’s Tennis team wrapped up another successful season, reaching the NCAA's Elite Eight as a team. In addition, the Sagehen's top doubles team of Siobhan Finicane PO ’10 and Olivia Muesse PO ’10 advanced to the NCAA Doubles Championships, falling in the final.

With a resouding 5-1 victory over SCIAC rival University of Redlands on Sunday, the Pomona-Pitzer women's tennis team advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2009 NCAA Division III Women' Tennis Championships.

Women's Tennis Set to Host First Two Rounds of NCAA's
The seventh-ranked Pomona-Pitzer women's tennis team advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Championships with a 5-1 win over conference rival University of Redlands in the third round of the NCAA tournament. Unfortunately, the team drew Emory University in the quarterfinals. The Eagles proved too tough, defeating the Sagehens 5-1, and ending a phenomenal 2009 season.

Women's Tennis Finishes 5th at Indoor Nationals
Pomona-Pitzer Women’s Tennis traveled this past weekend (2/28-3/1/09) to Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN to compete in the inaugural ITA DIII Indoor Team Nationals. Entering the tournament of eight teams as the #4 seed, the Sagehens fell 6-3 to the eventual winners, Carnegie Mellon, in the first round.

2007-2008 Women's Tennis Season Recap
The successful 2007-2008 season ended satisfyingly for the Pomona-Pitzer Women’s Tennis Team with an NCAA National Singles Championship, an ITA Fall National Doubles Championship, and a 4th place finish in their second consecutive trip to the NCAA Final 8.

Sagehens Win in the Classroom
The men's and women's tennis teams and the women's water polo team were recognized for their academic success. Showcasing the division III philosophy of academic and athletic balance, all three programs finished their respective seasons nationally ranked.
