Jen Scanlon came to Pomona-Pitzer in the fall of
2003 after serving as Head Coach at Kenyon College (Gambier, OH)
for 3 1/2 years. Scanlon graduated from Macalester College (St.
Paul, MN) in 1995 with a degree in History. At Macalester, she was
a three-time All-American and two-time conference player of the
year for the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC).
Scanlon served as an assistant coach at her alma mater between
1996—1998 and a graduate assistant at the University of New
Hampshire from 1998-2000. Scanlon completed a M.S. in Kinesiology,
with a Sport Psychology emphasis, from UNH in 2003. Scanlon holds
the United States Soccer Federation “B” license and has
experience coaching competitive club soccer and in the Olympic
Development Program. A native of Fullerton, CA, Scanlon currently
resides in Claremont.
