About the Program

Ever since Jen Scanlon arrived to coach the Pomona-Pitzer women’s soccer program in 2003, the team has experienced a sharp turn-around. Coach Scanlon helped catapult the team from the bottom of conference to SCIAC champions within three years.  In 2005, the Sagehens made the program’s first-ever trip to the NCAA tournament, playing Hardin-Simmons of Abilene, TX in the 1st round. The team’s 11-5-3 record in 2005 was also the best season ever for the Pomona-Pitzer women’s soccer program. The 2005 SCIAC Champions prepare students to succeed in whatever they choose to pursue.
