About the Program

The Pomona-Pitzer women’s softball team has a history of
success, starting with the program’s inception in 1990. Since
that first season the Sagehens have gone on to establish themselves
as one of the teams to watch in SCIAC. The Sagehens have produced
numerous All-SCIAC players, and a plethora of team records have
been set.
Pomona-Pitzer’s success can be attributed to a powerful
hitting offense and stingy defense. The squad’s schedule
annually features not only SCIAC opponents, but regional
non-conference foes, as well.
The Saghens play their home games on the beautiful Wig Beach
diamond, which is one of the finer facilities in southern
California.
