2010 Golf Season Preview

Coach Bernie Walker is optimistic about his team's chances this year. Coming off a strong finish last year and what looks to be a strong recruiting class, Walker thinks this combination can make an impact in SCIAC this year.

The team is young, so Walker will turn to Seniors Andrew Stamm and Wynn Sullivan and Juniors Maxwell Kroloff and Alex Nakao, for leadership and consistency on the course. He will also hope that  John Hasse, Gabe Romano, and John David Nako can live up to their expectations.

Playing in the SCIAC which is considered the toughest DIII golf league in the country gives the team plenty of opportunities to play great golf, but also requires a solid showing every time out.

According to Coach Walker, "everyone on this team has really raised the level of commitment to the program this year. Guys are putting in the work and are starting to see the results."  It is a talented bunch of guys but the league is very talented, we will have to see if we can challenge the powers in the league.
