P-P Men's XC Earns 6-1 Record at Multi-Duals
Pomona-Pitzer's men's cross country team went 6-1 Saturday, Oct. 17 at the 2009 SCIAC Multi-Dual meet. The Sagehens scored against each SCIAC school, and defeated all conference opponents except cross-campus rival Claremont-M-S.
Senior John Mering paced the Sagehens with his sixth place finish in 27:24 over the grassy, hilly 8000 meter (5 mile) course. Sophomore Anders Crabo took ninth in 27:35, with senior Brian Gillis right behind in tenth at 27:43.
Pomona-Pitzer does not run this coming weekend, but resumes action on Saturday, Oct. 31 at the SCIAC Championship meet at Prado Park in Chino. The men's race begins at 9:45am.
