Most impressive was their upset of #11 Santa Clara University. The Sagehens came out hard against the Broncos, and never backed down, though they went into the second half trailing 3-5. They came back strong and won the second half 7-4, clinching victory. Goalie Kyle Pokorny protected his house with 9 blocks, while the offense was led by Ryan Balikian, who had 4 goals.
