About the Program

Coach Bernie Walker is optimistic about his team’s chances this year. Coming off a strong finish last year and what looks to be a strong recruiting class, Walker thinks this combination can make an impact in SCIAC this year.

The team is young, so Coach Walker will turn to his four returning players, juniors Andrew Stamm and Wynn Sullivan as well as sophomores Maxwell Kroloff and Alex Nakao, for leadership and consistency on the course. He will also hope that the freshmen John Hasse, Gabe Romano, and John David “J Dizzle” Nako can live up to their expectations.

Of his team’s chances to improve upon last year’s fourth place finish, Kroloff says, “We have a strong returning core of players, plus we have three freshman that are all capable of going low. So the sky is the limit for us.”

Echoing Kroloff’s excitement, Sullivan states, “Everyone on this team has really raised the level of commitment to the program this year. Guys are putting in the work and are starting to see the results."  It is a talented bunch of guys, time will tell if they can perform as a team.
