Hedman Named SCIAC Player of the Year

Drew Hedman was named SCIAC Player of the Year after leading the Sagehens to
the 2009 conference championship. In 21 conference games, Hedman hit .460
with 10 home runs and 41 runs batted in.

Seven other Sagehens were also named All-SCIAC on Tuesday. Sophomores David
Colvin and Nick Frederick, junior James Kang, and seniors Brandon Huerta and
Zach Mandelblatt were honored on the All-SCIAC First Team. Sophomore Teddy
Bingham and graduate student Mike Silva were named to the Second Team.
