Six Sagehens Named To NABC Honors Court

Claremont, Calif. - Six members of the Pomona-Pitzer Men's Basketball team earned spots on the National Association of Basketball Coaches Honors Court, it was announced today by the organization.

The award is given to men's basketball players who are juniors and seniors academically, earned letters, and who carry at least a 3.2 cumulative GPA.

All six Pomona College students who were eligible for the honor made the cut, including seniors Danny Brown (pictured), Greg Wright, and Evan Zahniser, and juniors Harrison Green, Brett Lingle, and Donald Okpalugo.

Pomona-Pitzer also had great success on the court this season, as it finished second in the SCIAC during the regular season and also ended the year as the runner-up in the SCIAC Tournament, defeating Whitter in the semifinals before suffering a narrow defeat to nationally ranked CMS in the title game.
