The Claremont Cougars are committed to developing an inclusive family built on respect, integrity, and pride in the game of lacrosse. We hold each other responsible for these values both on and off the field and strive to be leaders in the Five-College community.

As a club, the team draws players from Pomona, CMC, Harvey Mudd, and Pitzer.  As a club, the team elects its own officers, raises its own funds, hires its coaches, plans its activities, and has a great time while doing it all. This means that the club develops leadership and responsibility at an extremely high level.

The team is very competitive. We have a "fall ball" practice season, and participate in Division I of the new Southwest Lacrosse Conference in the spring. We were nationally ranked a few years ago, and frequently beat prominent teams like USC, UCLA, Berkeley, UC Santa Barbara, and the University of San Diego, among others.

I encourage you to check out the website for some more details and information.

We also are on Twitter as claremontlax and on Facebook as Claremont Men’s Lacrosse.

Players are responsible for providing their own cleats, pads, and sticks.  The team provides helmet, gloves, gear bag, uniforms, balls, etc.

The team has an email distribution list…if you would like to add your email address to the list, please inform John Faranda
